    Safety Instructions

    1. Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Heater.
    2. Extreme caution is necessary when any Heater is used by or near children or invalids.
    3. The Heater should not be left operating unattended.
    4. Never leave children unattended when the Heater is on or plugged in.
    5. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
    6. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
    7. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
    8. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
    9. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
    10. DO NOT use the Heater in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
    11. To disconnect the Heater, turn the Heater OFF, then remove the plug from the outlet.
    12. DO NOT use the Heater outdoors.
    13. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating.
    14. If an overheated temperature is reached, the Heater will automatically shut off.
    15. It can only resume operation when the user resets the unit.

    To Reset Heater

    1. Unplug the heater and wait 10 minutes for the heater to cool down.
    2. After the heater has cooled down, plug the unit into a 120V ~ electrical outlet and follow the operation instructions described in this manual.

    Maintainance

    • Always unplug the cord before moving, servicing, or cleaning.
    • NEVER place the Heater in or near water. DO NOT IMMERS THE HEATER IN WATER.
    • Clean the Heater only with a vacuum equipped with a brush attachment; the vacuum will remove
the lint and dirt from the surface of the Heater.
    • Vacuum intake grills every two weeks; this will help to maintain the optimum Heater performance.
    • Use a toothbrush or other soft-bristle brush to gently loosen any dirt not removed by the vacuum.
    • NEVER attempt to take apart the Heater.
    • Clean the body of the Heater with a soft cloth only.
    • NEVER use ALCOHOL or SOLVENTS such as gasoline, benzene, paint thinner, or other harsh cleaners.

    FAQs

Q: What type of humidification does the Guardian H1500 provide?
Ans: The H1500 creates a cool, thin mist using ultrasonic technology. This technique is perfect for providing moisture to dry indoor air and is energy-efficient and silent.

Q: What size room is the H1500 designed for?
Ans: The H1500 works best in medium-sized spaces, including offices, nurseries, or bedrooms, which are usually between 300 and 400 square feet.

Q: Does the H1500 have adjustable mist settings?
Ans: Yes, you may change the humidity levels according to your comfort level and the size of your room, thanks to the adjustable mist output controls.

Q: How long does the water tank last on a full fill?
Ans: The H1500 can operate on the low setting for up to 24 hours on a full tank. The amount of mist and the environment of the room can affect how long it takes.

Q: Can I use essential oils in the water tank?
Ans: No, using essential oils with the Guardian H1500 is not recommended since it could harm the ultrasonic components. Use only cool, clean water.

Q: What kind of water should I use?
Ans: Use demineralised or distilled water for optimal effects and to minimise mineral accumulation. Hard minerals in tap water can produce white dust.

Q: Why is there white dust around my humidifier?
Ans: Mineral residue in tap water is the source of white dust. This can be decreased by using demineralisation cartridges (if compatible) or distilled water.
