There may be a delay between the time the paddle switch is released and when the brake engages. Occasionally, the brake may miss completely. If the brake misses frequently, have the tool serviced by an authorised MILWAUKEE service facility. Make sure the tool comes to a complete stop before laying it down.

    Cutbrake

CUTBRAKE will engage the electric brake to stop the tool automatically when the cut is complete (without needing to release the paddle switch). To turn CUT-BRAKE on or off, press the CUT-BRAKE button. The button will light green to indicate when CUTBRAKE is active.

    Starting, Stopping, and Controlling Speed

    • To start the tool, grasp the handle(s) firmly, push the lock-off switch forward, and squeeze the paddle switch.
    • To stop the tool, release the paddle switch.

    Cutting Rebar

    1. Grasp the handles firmly and align the rebar with the cutting shoe.
    2. Make sure the blade is not touching the rebar, and start the tool.
    3. Allow the blade to reach full speed before cutting the rebar.
    4. Slowly push the cutting blade against the rebar. Keep firm pressure on the tool while cutting.
    5. Once the rebar has been fully cut through, release the paddle Milwaukee 3675-20 M18 FUEL.
    6. Rebar Cutting switch to stop the blade.

    • Depending on use, periodically have an authorised service facility inspect and maintain the tool, battery, and charger to ensure proper performance.
    • If the tool does not start or operate at full power with a fully charged battery pack, clean the contacts on the battery pack. If the tool still does not work properly, return the tool, charger, and battery pack to a MILWAUKEE service facility for repairs.

    FAQs

Q: What is the Milwaukee 3675-20 M18 FUEL Rebar Cutter designed for?

The 3675-20 M18 FUEL is a cordless, battery-operated rebar cutter that can swiftly and effectively cut rebar up to 5/8 inch (16 mm) in diameter. It is designed for tradespeople and construction professionals who require accurate, quick, and portable rebar cutting without the need for manual tools.

Q: What diameter of rebar can it cut?

Rebar up to 16 mm (5/8 inch) can be cut with the Milwaukee 3675-20. Cutting larger rebar could result in a dangerous operation or damage to the instrument.

    Q: Does it have a maintenance-free motor?

Indeed, the FUEL motor is brushless, which lowers maintenance needs while increasing tool life, runtime, and efficiency.

Q: Is the cutter portable enough for job sites?

Indeed, it is small and cordless, which makes it perfect for distant areas without power access, construction sites, and rebar fabrication.

Q: How do I replace the battery?

On the battery’s sides, press the release buttons. Carefully remove the battery. A fully charged M18 battery should be inserted until it clicks into position. Before using the battery, make sure it is firmly locked.

Q: How can I maximise productivity on the job site?

Have several fully charged M18 batteries on hand. Before cutting, arrange rebar according to size and kind. To avoid jams, clean your jaw on a regular basis. Avoid using the cutter while holding heavy rebar in midair; instead, use it on sturdy surfaces.
