    Troubleshooting

    Before Blending

    • If the unit is not operating, this may be the Nutribullet NBI50100 Immersion Blender due to parts not being fully locked in place.
    • Check to make sure the attachment you are using is locked tightly onto the main body of the blender.

    During Operation

    • If the problem seems to be an overly thick mixture that caused the blade to stop moving, try adding water or other liquid to soften the mixture, or try separating the mixture by hand, or removing some of the mixture.

    Overheating

    • To avoid overheating, allow the Immersion Blender to cool down for at least 5 minutes between uses.

    FAQs

Q: What materials are safe to blend in?
Ans: You can combine in the included beaker, pots, pitchers, or deep bowls. Always make sure the container is deep enough to avoid splashing, strong, and heat-safe.

Q: Can I use the immersion blender in hot liquids?
Ans: Yes, it is okay to use with hot or warm drinks; however, do not mix boiling liquids. Allow the liquid to cool somewhat to avoid burns from steam or splash.

Q: Does the NBI50100 have multiple speeds?
Ans: Indeed, the NBI50100 has variable speed control, which lets you fine-tune the intensity of the blending for greater accuracy.

Q: Can I crush ice or frozen fruit with this blender?
Ans: Crushing huge ice cubes or hard frozen things immediately is not advised. To safeguard the motor and blades, use smaller pieces or soften frozen foods first.

Q: Is the blending arm dishwasher-safe?
Ans: The whisk attachment and mixing arm are indeed top-rack dishwasher safe. Use a moist cloth to clean the motor base instead of immersing it or putting it in the dishwasher.

Q: Can I use the whisk attachment for heavy dough?
Ans: No, the whisk attachment works best for simple mixing jobs like whisking eggs or cream. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer for thick batters or dough.
