    Leak Test

Gas connections on the heater are leak tested at the factory before shipment. A complete gas leak test must also be performed after assembly before operating the heater due to possible damage occurring during transportation.

    For Natural Gas Model

    • The appliance and its shut-off valve must be disconnected from the gas supply piping system during any pressure testing of that system at test pressures over 1/2 psi.
    • The appliance must be isolated from the gas supply piping system by closing its manual shut-off valve during any pressure testing of the gas supply piping system at test pressures equal to or less than 1/2 psig.
    For NG/Propane Model

    FAQs

Q: Is this heater powered by gas or electricity?

Ans: Depending on the model, either natural gas (NG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) can power the Tungsten Portable Heater. Make sure you connect your unit to the proper gas supply and confirm the fuel type before setting it up.

Q: How much area does it heat?

Ans: A single Tungsten portable heater can efficiently heat up to 215 square feet (20 m2) in the right circumstances.

Q: How does the heater generate warmth?

Ans: Instead of only warming the air, the unit harnesses radiant heat through a ceramic burner grid to warm people and objects directly. This guarantees comfort even in windy weather.

Q: Does the heater require assembly?

Ans: Indeed. It requires very little assembly right out of the box. Before using, always make sure there are no leaks in the gas connections.

Q: Can I move the heater while it’s running?

Ans: Moving a hot unit can result in injuries or strain on the gas line, despite its portability and smooth wheels.

Q: Is the unit safe to use around children or pets?

Ans: Use caution. Despite the heater’s tilt safety shutoff and flame failure protection, using it can cause the surface to get quite hot. Keep an eye on kids and dogs near the heater at all times.
