FAQs
Q: What is the maximum capacity of the Classic Kettle?
Ans: Up to 1.7 litres of water can be stored in the kettle. To prevent boiling over, don’t go beyond the MAX level indicated within the kettle.
Q: Is it safe to boil less than a full kettle?
Ans: Indeed. The kettle can safely boil at least half a litre, or about two cups. To prevent harming the element, never use less than the bare minimum when operating the kettle.
Q: Does the kettle have a limescale filter?
Ans: Indeed, there is a washable and detachable anti-scale filter behind the spout. This contributes to better-tasting hot beverages and cleaner water.
Q: Can the heating element be replaced?
Ans: Indeed! The Classic Kettle’s interchangeable heating element, which is intended to promote sustainability and prolong product life, is one of its most notable characteristics. To find out more about service possibilities, contact Dualit.
Q: How long does it take to boil water?
Ans: Depending on the water’s temperature and other factors, the kettle’s potent 3kW hidden element may boil one litre in roughly two minutes.
Q: Is the exterior heat-resistant?
Ans: During operation, the stainless steel body will get hot to the touch. After boiling, always use the insulated handle and keep your hands away from the metal surfaces.
Q: What is boil-dry protection, and does this kettle have it?
Ans: Indeed, if the kettle is turned on without enough water, the Classic Kettle’s boil-dry prevention feature will instantly turn it off. Before restarting, always refill.
Q: Can I use the kettle to reboil water multiple times?
Ans: Yes, but it’s ideal to use fresh water every time for the greatest flavour, especially for tea or coffee.
