Lasko 5538 Ceramic Tower Heater

Safety Instructions
ALWAYS be sure the plug fits tightly into the outlet when using your Lasko T12110 Twist Top Tower Fan. When plugs fit loosely into outlets, they may slip partially out of the outlet and create a poor connection. This may cause outlets to overheat and create a potential fire hazard.
ALWAYS unplug the power cord of your Lasko T12110 Twist Top Tower Fan when servicing, cleaning, or moving the Fan. DO NOT use the ON/OFF switch as the sole means of disconnecting power. NEVER leave children unattended when the Fan is on or plugged in. ALWAYS turn off and unplug the Fan when not in use.
THIS FAN HAS A POLARIZED PLUG (one blade is wider than the other). Match the wide blade to the wide slot in the outlet and FULLY INSERT. DO NOT attempt to bypass or defeat this safety feature. If the plug does not fit in the outlet, consult a qualified electrician.
- AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet-style air fresheners, or other cord-connected devices, as these devices may overheat and cause a fire hazard.
- DO NOT route the power cord under rugs, carpets, runners, or furniture.
- This may damage the cord or cause it to overheat, creating a fire hazard.
- DO NOT block, cover, or obstruct air flow to or from the Fan while in operation.
- This Fan is not suitable for use in hazardous locations.

FAQs
Q: How does the ceramic heating element work?
When energy flows through the ceramic element, it quickly heats up, and the integrated fan distributes warm air throughout the space. This guarantees quick, effective, and steady heating without causing the air to become dry.
Q: Can I adjust the temperature manually?
Indeed. To adjust your ideal temperature, which is usually between 60°F and 85°F (15°C and 29°C), use the temperature up/down buttons on the control panel or remote.
Q: What is the oscillation feature?
Oscillation allows the heater to rotate side to side, dispersing warm air evenly around the space. To activate or deactivate this feature, press the “Oscillation” button on the control panel or remote.
Q: Does the heater include a remote control?
Indeed. The Lasko 5538 has a remote control that allows you to change the power, oscillation, and temperature from anywhere in the room.
Q: Can I disassemble the heater for deep cleaning?
No, it is not possible to service the heater’s internal parts. The warranty may be invalid if the housing is opened. Only clean the vents and exterior components that are easily accessible.
Q: Does the heater have a timer function?
Indeed. You may program the built-in timer to shut off the heater automatically after one to eight hours of continuous use. To change in one-hour increments, press the timer button.
