    Handle

The handle has been designed for comfort to prevent hand fatigue during heavy or long mixing tasks.

    Super Aerator Whisk

The whisk is used to beat air into mixtures such as egg whites, yolks, or cream. Super Aerator Whisk is specially designed for 30% faster whipping compared to a standard Oster balloon whisk.

    Storage Case

Lets you store your hand mixer and accessories conveniently together for easy access and travel.

    Using the Device

Before using your mixer for the first time, wash the beaters in hot/soapy water, or the dishwasher. Rinse and dry. Be sure speed control is in the “OFF” or “0” position and unplugged from an electrical outlet.

Insert beaters one at a time, by placing the tem end of the beaters into the opening drive holes on the bottom of the mixer. Turn the beater slightly and push in until the beater clicks into position. Beaters are interchangeable.

To avoid splatters, start the nit on the Oster Hand Mixer’s lowest speed and slowly increase to the desired speed setting. Slowly guide the mixer around the sides and through the center of the bowl, going in the same direction. Be careful not to overbeat the mixture. Overbeating tends to make some mixtures tough.

Whenever scraping of the bowl is required, stop the mixer and scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed. Turn speed control to “OFF” or “0” and rest the mixer on its heel rest while adding ingredients. Be sure to position beaters over the mixing bowl so any dripping will fall back into the mixing bowl.

When mixing is complete, set the control to “1”, and raise beaters slowly from batter to clean off clinging food. Be sure to set the unit to “0” before raising beaters completely out of the mixing bowl.

    Ejecting Beaters

Be sure the control is in the “OFF” or “0” position, and the cord is removed from the electrical outlet. Scrape off any excess batter with a rubber spatula. Grasp the stems of the beaters with your hand and press the beater eject button. Beaters will be released into your hand.

    Cleaning & Storage

Place all accessories inside the storage box, orienting tthe stemsof the beaters, dough hooks, and whisk towards the back of the container. Finallyy insert the hand mixer in the storage container,er making sure the lock tab in the back locks into the rear cap of the hand mixer.

    FAQs

Q: How powerful is this hand mixer?

The 250-watt motor of the FPSTHMTJ-S offers dependable mixing power for a variety of ingredients, including thicker doughs and lighter batters.

Q: How many speed settings does it have?

In addition to six speed-setting options, it has a Turbo Burst button for added power when combining tough or uncooperative ingredients.

Q: What is the “Turbo Burst” function used for?

To handle dense mixes like cookie dough or mashed potatoes, the Turbo Burst provides a brief burst of speed. To avoid splattering or overmixing, use it in brief spurts.

Q: Can I use the hand mixer for kneading dough?

Indeed! After attaching the dough hooks, begin at a low speed and increase it gradually as the ingredients come together. However, light to medium doughs—not heavy bread doughs—are the ideal fit for this mixer.

Q: Can I mix directly in metal or glass bowls?

Yes, mixing bowls made of plastic, glass, or metal can be used with the Oster FPSTHMTJ-S. To guarantee even mixing and avoid splatter, stay away from extremely narrow or deep bowls.

Q: How long can I continuously run the mixer?

Run the mixer for up to five minutes at a time for optimal results. To avoid overheating when mixing thick dough or batter, give the motor a few minutes to rest in between operations.

Q: Why does my mixer slow down when mixing thick ingredients?

That’s typical; the motor adapts to larger loads on its own. Don’t push the beaters through too dense combinations; instead, use the Turbo Burst option when needed.

Q: Is the FPSTHMTJ-S loud during operation?

A low buzzing sound, characteristic of hand mixers, is produced by the motor. A louder sound could mean that the beaters need to be cleaned or that the ingredients are too thick.
