Safety Instructions
When using the pressure washer, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. These include:
- Know your product – Know how to stop the machine and bleed pressure quickly.
- Thoroughly familiarise yourself with the controls.
- Wear protective footwear that will protect your feet and improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
- Stay alert – Watch what you are doing. Use common sense.
- Do not operate the pressure washer when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Do not overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
- Avoid unintentional starting – Do not carry a plugged-in machine with your finger on the trigger.
- Make sure the switch is off before plugging in the machine.
- Check the water temperature – This pressure washer is not meant to pump hot water.
- NEVER connect it to a hot water supply, as it will significantly reduce the life of the pump.
- Store indoors – NEVER store the pressure washer outdoors or where it could freeze.
- The pump could be seriously damaged.
- Receptacles are available with built-in GFCI protection and may be used for this measure of safety.
- Inspect electrical cables – The insulation of the power cord should be perfectly intact.
- If the power cord is damaged or shows any signs of wear or tear, do not use the pressure washer.
- Before starting up your machine, please check it carefully for any defects.
- If you find any, do not start up your machine and contact your distributor.
- A qualified person should perform the electric supply connection.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING! Remove batteries before assembling the blower or carrying out any work on the machine.
- To install the end nozzle, align the protrusions on the front pipe with the sliding grooves on the end nozzle and then slide it onto the front pipe and turn it anticlockwise to lock. To remove the end nozzle, install it in reverse.
ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP
CAUTION: Be sure to attach the hooks of the shoulder strap to the machine securely. If the hooks are attached incompletely, they may come off and cause an injury. Be sure to use the shoulder strap dedicated to this machine. Using another shoulder strap may cause an injury.
- Fasten the buckle (fig.2).
- Clasp the hook on the shoulder strap to the tool’s hanger (fig.3).

Operation
Installing / Removing the Battery
- DO NOT install the battery cartridge forcibly. If the cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly.
Battery
Press the check button on the battery cartridge to indicate the remaining battery capacity. The tool is equipped with a tool/battery protection system. This system automatically cuts off power to the motor to extend tool and battery life. The tool will automatically stop during operation if the tool or battery is placed under one of the following conditions:
Overload Protection
When the battery is operated in a manner that causes it Sealey CP40VB 40V SV20 Body Blower to draw an abnormally high current, the tool automatically stops without indication. In this situation, turn the tool off and stop the application that caused the tool to become overloaded. Then turn the tool on to restart.
Overheat Protection
When the tool or battery is overheated, the tool stops automatically. In this situation, let the tool/battery cool before turning the tool on again.
Overdischarge Protection
When the battery capacity becomes low, the tool stops automatically. If the product does not operate even when the switches are operated, remove the batteries from the tool and charge the batteries.
Switch Action
- To start the machine, simply pull the switch trigger.
- The speed increases by increasing pressure on the switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop.
- The lock-on feature allows you to lock the switch trigger in the on position.
- Locking the switch trigger on allows you to operate the blower for extended periods of time.

Lock
- Depress the switch trigger.
- Press down the switch lock-on button.
- Release the switch trigger.
- Release the switch lock-on button.
- Depress the switch trigger again and release.
