Using the Rinse
This cycle agitates, without cooling, to rinse the unit. After using the Rinse cycle, wash all parts by hand or in a dishwasher to fully clean the unit after each use.
- Dispense any remaining frozen drink.
- Stop the current preset. Press the RINSE button.
- Add hot water up to the vessel’s max fill line (64 oz).
- Slowly dispense the water from the unit immediately after filling.
- Stop Rinse cycle by pressing the RINSE button again.
- Press the power button to turn off the unit.

increase the temperature level by pressing the top arrow on the control panel.
Troubleshooting
RECIPE NOT SLUSHING?
If your recipe has not reached the desired texture after 60 minutes, use the Temperature Control Setting to increase the temperature one level. Wait 10–15 minutes to test the recipe. If the texture still isn’t what you desire, increase the temperature by one level again. Repeat until the desired texture is achieved.
SLUSH NOT DISPENSING?
For the best dispensing experience, fill the unit to the max fill line and ensure the unit is running. For a smoother dispense experience, decrease the temperature level by pressing the bottom arrow on the control panel. More sippable frozen drinks will dispense smoothly.
Low-Sugar Alert
Temperature Control LEDs will flash one at a time in descending order, starting with the top LED. Preset LEDS will flash, and the unit will beep every minute for 15 minutes.
If a drink does not meet the minimum requirement of total sugar
Add 1–2 tablespoons flavored syrup, juice, sugar, date sugar, coconut sugar, maple syrup, agave, simple syrup, or honey per serving (8 oz). Combine additional sugar with the base prior to pouring into the unit.
High-Alcohol/High-Sugar Alert
Temperature Control LEDs will flash one at a time in ascending order, starting with the bottom LED. Preset LEDs will flash, and the unit will beep every minute for 15 minutes.
If a drink exceeds the maximum alcohol and sugar amounts
Add 1/4 cup of water per serving (8 oz) to dilute the input.

Q: Can I use frozen fruit?
Indeed! Frozen fruits can be handled by the Ninja SLUSHi; however, for smoother results, mix them with a liquid (juice, milk, or syrup). Before blending, chop the fruit into little pieces to avoid using huge frozen chunks.
Q: Can I make alcoholic frozen drinks?
Yes, however, after blending, add alcohol for optimal consistency. If added before blending, high-alcohol liquids can cause mixes to become overly fluid and lower the freezing point.
Q: Can I adjust the texture of my drink?
Indeed! Depending on your model, you can adjust how chunky or fine the ice is by using the Texture Dial or Manual Pulse option. For a finer texture, run more blend cycles; for chunkier ice, stop early.
Why is my drink too thick or chunky?
Perhaps a little extra liquid is needed for the mixing. Blend again after adding tiny quantities (10–20 ml) until the appropriate texture is achieved. Liquid should always be introduced gradually since once added, it cannot be removed!
Q: How long does it take to make a frozen drink?
The majority of recipes take less than a minute. Although you can manually stop or pulse as needed, the machine automatically stops when the perfect slush texture is reached.
