Renzor HEEDU Replacement Pressure Switch Kit
General Information
- If a model (H)EEDU duct furnace manufactured before SEP 2003 requires a replacement pressure switch, this kit is designed to provide the hardware and instructions needed to install a functional replacement switch. Some components may not be used depending on when the heater was manufactured.
- Refer to the installation manual provided with the heater for important safety information.
Components
Check the type of switch on the heater. If the pressure switch is metal, the entire kit is required. If the pressure switch is black plastic, the pressure switch (PN 205821) is the only component from the kit that is required. Ensure that all components listed in Figure 1 and listed in Table 1 are available before beginning installation. llation

Installation
Refer to Figure 2 and replace the pressure switch as follows:
- Turn off the gas and electric power.
- Locate anthe d remove existing pressure from the venton venter assthe embly on the rear of heater:
- Install wire terminals on each of three pressure switch wires, one black and two orange: the
- Cut the existing terminal off the end of each wire. Do not shorten the wire any more than required; cuthe t only the terminal.
- Strip end of each wire about 1/4 inch.
- Cothe nnect replacement wire terminal to each wire using the wire crimper tool.
- Install replacement pressure switch:
- For units with a metal pressure switch and aluminum tubing:
- The position replacement mounting bracket, the one that flanges with a small mounting hole, faces the pressure switch.
- Slide wires through the slot and fasten the cable connector to the bracket.
- Position replacement switch and bracket over the bottom mounting hole, and d secure the switch and bracket using screws removed in step 1—one in the bottom mounting d one in top mounting hole.
- Push one end of the replacement silicone tube to fit the fitting on the pressure switch. Push the other end over the existing aluminum tubing. Ensure that both ends are secure.
- For units with a metal pressure switch and aluminum tubing:

- Reconnect pressure switch wires: NOTE: On the Renzor HEEDU Replacement Pressure Switch Kit replacement pressure switch, there are two prong-type terminals: a single prong and a 2-to-1 prong labeled C1.
- Connect the wire terminal on the black wire to the single prong on the pressure switch.
- Slightly bend up one terminal on a 2-to-1 connection or from the kit so that insulated wire terminal will fit on each connection. Connect wire terminals on orange with the wires to the 2-to-1 connector and conthe nect to the labeled C1 on pressure switch. Ensure that the connector and terminals are secure.
- Tuthe rn ON gas and electric power.
- Light the eater in accordance with the lighting instructions.
- Check for proper operation.
Limited Warranty
Reznor LLC warrants to the original owner-user that this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is limited to twelve (12) months from the date of original installation, whether or not actual use begins on that date, or eighteen (18) months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first.
Manufacturer Replacement Parts Limited Warranty
Reznor LLC warrants replacement parts for thirty (30) days after installation or thirteen (13) months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first.
